This project was motivated from CTURA SE-1 Project. The functional analysis of the prototype stirling engine required a heating system. CTURA team researched, designed and developed the system. The system’s was such that temperature settings to a high precision is required. CTURA team carried out experiments in order that effective meta-model which provides the effective temperature reading was modeled. All this was done for effective control. The design of the insulation system involved finite element modeling, to ensure that the materials can withstand the temperature requirements.
Also, the contracted fabricated parts which includes the mold, were done under the supervision of CTURA team.
